Introduction
CCX inserts are CVD coated cermet for high speed finishing. The unique combination of cermet, with a thick CVD coating, provides high speed machining for better productivity. Applicable to a wide range of cutting conditions – from general to high speed machining – and it maintains a reliable and long tool life in soft steel, general steel, and cast iron applications. All in all the CCX technology leads to excellent high speed finishing and greater productivity.
