CVD diamond coating technology

With Weber Technologies, part of the KYOCERA UNIMERCO Group since 2025, we are bringing additional expertise in CVD diamond coating technology to AMB 2026. This technology supports the cost-effective machining of aluminium, CFRP, graphite, and ceramics while delivering optimal performance and enhanced process reliability.

New KGX Grooving & Cut-Off Tool

The new KGX Grooving & Cut-Off Tool has been developed to deliver improved holder durability, higher machining precision, and enhanced productivity. Its advanced clamping design reduces wear and insert movement, resulting in longer tool life, improved machining stability, and more consistent production quality. The system also offers improved chip control for high-speed machining and features a common insert platform for external, internal, and face grooving applications, simplifying tool management and reducing inventory complexity.

New ME90 Helical End Mill for titanium alloys

For manufacturers working with titanium alloys and other demanding materials, the new ME90 Helical End Mill provides a reliable solution for stable machining and extended tool life. Combining a high-rigidity cutter body, advanced insert geometry, and the new PM335S grade, the ME90 delivers excellent machining stability and process reliability while offering outstanding economy through its double-sided inserts with eight usable cutting edges. The cutter is specifically engineered to address the machining challenges associated with difficult-to-machine materials, enabling improved productivity and predictable tool performance.

New MG90B slot milling cutter

Visitors can also discover the new MG90B slot milling cutter, designed for high-efficiency slot milling applications. Featuring a unique cutter design, rigid insert clamping, and an economical six-edge insert configuration, the MG90B delivers exceptional machining stability while reducing cutting forces and spindle load. The staggered insert arrangement and large chip pockets ensure smooth chip evacuation and reliable machining performance. Among the solutions on display will be KYOCERA's high-performance cermet inserts, offering excellent wear resistance, long tool life, and superior surface finish in finishing applications. In milling, the MFH Micro high-feed milling cutter provides highly productive machining of small and complex components through increased feed rates and efficient material removal, making it an attractive and economical alternative to solid carbide end mills in many applications.
